Seaworks 2024: We Had to Catch the Tide
CMS GeoScience Ltd were really looking forward to being a part of the 25th Seaworks Exhibition in Southampton this year, seeing the latest industry developments, meeting familiar faces as well as getting to know new ones.
We are in the middle of an incredibly busy spring and summer season, and a rapidly increasing work schedule has meant that all of our personnel have had to take advantage of every clear weather window that presents itself.
Because of this, everyone is currently either managing or out working on campaigns around the country. Our geotechnical team, who have just returned from a challenging offshore project in the Irish Sea, are immediately kicking off a really exciting project this week in Jersey, in association with the Convex Seascape Survey, Jersey Marine Resources, the Blue Marine Foundation & University of Exeter. The project is a pioneering collaboration of world-leading scientists working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the continental shelf seabed habitats surrounding the islands.
Sadly, this means that we will not be able to be on stand M11 as planned but we do hope that all attendees and exhibitors have a great show, and we will be keeping up to date with what Seaworks 2024 brings as it celebrates its Silver Anniversary.
Although we will not be available in person, we would still very much like to hear from you. If you would like to learn more about what CMS GeoScience Ltd can offer, and what we can do to assist you with your projects, please head to our contact page to get in touch.
